I found some carpet stain remover stuff and although there isn't a stain, I though I'd try it. Ther stuff has a really strong chemical smell which is actually preferable to the vomit, and maybe when the chemical smell fades so will the vomit smell. Maybe....

To add insult to injury, a visiting seven year old pooped herself at my house today and I didn't realise until she had gone home. I could smell a poopy kind of smell, and tracked it down to the two chairs in my living room on which she had been sitting. Out came the chemicals again....

This happened to me last year with another child too. WHY is it always me?? I do have a really strong sense of smell, so it's worse for than me than other people, too. Feeling sorry for myself and my smelly house? Yup!
