My 2 year old son threw up on the carpet and we immediately got out the carpet cleaner. It still smells terrible. Is it too late to put baking powder on it to freshen it up? I am kicking myself for jumping to the carpet cleaner because with my cats I always get out the baking powder first. Any suggestions for me when I have done things in the wrong order?
