Nursing
Congratulations! You're lucky you were able to nurse for so long. I wasn't able to nurse any of my kids for very long. I nursed Angel for 3 months, but she never nursed well, mostly cause she was always sick. I nursed Elizabeth for 2 months, but then I got really sick from the Crohns and dried up (which is odd for me). I was told not to nurse Daniel at all, because my dr wanted me to go directly back on my meds, but I nursed him for a week. I wanted him to get all the colostrum, and antibodies. Now for my odd thing. Other than briefly when I was sick with the Crohns, I have never dried up. Daniel is now 13 months old, and I'm still producing milk. I can still squirt, I've got so much. Same with Angel. I produced milk from when I had her (August of 1998) to when I dried up from the crohns (October of 2001). I think in a past life I was a wet nurse. I actually produce more milk than any child could drink. One of my nipples are inverted, so I've only ever nursed from my right breast, and I NEVER DRIED OUT. I could nurse every 3 to 4 hours and nurse them full, and still have a full breast. I'm just wierd
