I can't believe I don't have this film listed!
Miyazaki-san is BRILLIANT, and one of our favorite filmmakers. "Spirited Away" is his masterpiece, an awe-inspiring tour de force that works for adults and children alike. Josie and Lou have seen it (after we previewed it) and in spots they cuddle close to me but they don't seem overly traumatized. The story has a moral--several, actually--but doesn't pound it over your head, and toward the end I always get weepy, but they're happy tears.
In fact, I want to watch it now! I'm going to see if I can talk the girls into letting me watch it.
I'm going to put this in the listings. Watch the top right Review box; it'll pop up in a sec.
