my favorite funeral poem
I know this isn't the one you're looking for, but Emily Dickenson did a great poem about dying and death. It goes:
When tolling bells
I ask the cause
A sould has gone to God
I'm answered in a lonesome tone
Is heaven then so bad?
The bells should joyful
Ring to tell
A soul has gone to heaven
Would seem to me the proper way
A good news should be given.
I always really liked the way she looks at death. I'm really sorry about your loss.
