Aw, how sweet!
Yay for promotion on the farm way of life! It's a wonderful way to raise kids, I'll vouch for that!
But people think farming is all fun and games. It's also a heck of a lot of worrying and right now, it sure isn't much fun in the middle of a 10 year drought and very few crops. And I'm amused that the generic idea of the family farm/dairies in the East and especially cities is different than the reality here in the Texas/New Mexico area.
But that's a whole other story! LOL! I could go on and on about the woes of farming, but in the end, it's a good way of life to raise kids in (although retirement benefits and health insurance really stinks! LOL! And you have to make ends meet by have a "real" job in your spare time.)
Sorry, can you tell I'm a little bitter this year. LOL!
