Update
We got the pathology report from the D&C yesterday, and got an answer--the baby was triploid. From conception, it had 3 chromosomes instead of the normal 2. It may sound weird, but this was a huge relief to me. There was nothing at all I could have done to change the outcome, and these babies never survive for more than a few days, on the rare occurence that they reach full term. I feel like we can start over now, and I hope I can conceive again.
Thanks for the good wishes, and for listening.
Joanna
