Description
This can be put together before you go to bed and slipped into the oven while everyone is getting dressed! It's low in carbs, not to bad in fats, and it's delicious!
Ingredients
- 1⁄2 c dry bread crumbs or precooked shredded red potatoes
- 1 T butter
- 5 hard cooked eggs, chopped
- 3 slice bacon, crumbled
- 1 c sour cream
- 3 T finely chopped onion of your choice, try shallots
- 1 T milk
- 1⁄2 t salt
- 1⁄4 t paprika
- 1⁄8 t pepper
- 1⁄2 c your favorite cheese, shredded
Instructions
Toss bread crumbs (or shredded red potato) with butter. Spread in bottom of lightly oiled casserole dish (small).
Next you mix your crumbled bacon, sour cream, onion, and spices together and spoon that evenly over the first layer.
Set your breakfast table before you go to bed, complete with candles, hehehe!
In the morning, take this out of the fridge while the oven is pre-heating to 350 degrees. Bake uncovered for 15 minutes. Set it on the table, light your candles, poor everyone a drink, and call the family to a nice hot breakfast!
With love,
May
