We made it!! We are now officially washingtonians!! I can't believe we are here! We drove for two days and my kids where angels in the car! I've missed this site so much!!! How is everyone? Our new home is amazing! I can't believe I'm surrounded by beauty all day everyday. Such a big change from Big City California! You know I was kind of worried that we would get up here and I would find out things about the country that I didnt like but so far there is not one thing that I would change for anything in the world!!!--read more

Something incredible happened today that makes me question how safe we all really are. My DH flew up to Washington to look at a house that we put on offer on contingent on one of us viewing it.The sellers wanted us to view it by Friday as opposed to Sunday which is what we wanted. I bought the tickets online this morning at around 8:00am. At 10am we found out the sellers agreed to our offer. My DH came home from work immediatley. After changing his clothes we sped down to the airport. I dropped him off with plenty of time to catch his flight. As I was driving home I realized I had enough time to get to the store to pick up some much needed things before my boys got out of school. After a quick trip to the store I came home to drop off the groceries and put them away before I picked up the kids. I checked my answering machine and there was a message from my MIL saying that my DH called her collect to tell her that he forgot his Wallet!!!!!!!--read more

UUgghh... I despise waiting. When I sit in traffic I wait. The frusteration with traffic has nothing to do with other cars, its waiting for them to move! When I have to go to the doctor or take my kids to the doctor I have to wait. Waiting in the Waiting room hoping the Dr. didn't get called away on some emergency. I found out that the receptionist won't even tell you if the Dr. had to leave she lets you sit there and WAIT! Those last 2-3 weeks of pregnancy!! UUghhhg after everthing for the baby is ready. The novelty of being pregnant was over WWAAAAAY before! The excitement of seeing the baby but NO you have to wait.I understand completely that waiting is part of life. Well, I'm waiting again, and i swear every time I have to wait it gets harder. --read more

Hi Everybody! I missed you all soooo much! We had a GREAT time in Washington!! We even found a house!! My dad and our realtor (here and there) are meeting as I type. I am soo excited! We have so much to organize. I am trying not to get excited. Anything could happen when it comes to the house. If we don't get it than how are we going to go look at more houses? DH can't take anymore time off of work. I can't go up there myself. I guess it's in Gods hands. I have to let it go and see where this road in life takes me. DD is so happy she didn't want to come home! She has already learned where Washington and California is on the map. I am so happy, It feels right. But I am kinda scared to leave my mom, sisters, etc just scared that Ill lose it when i leave or one month when Aunt Flo is about to visit and hormones are out of wack. Oh well I know this is the best thing for me and my family and Ill just have to wait and let life run its course.--read more

Why is it that when Aunt Flo is getting ready to visit everyone loses their common sense? I know, I know, it's me but still, can't people just stop stressing out? I mean I go to the grocery store and it seems like everyone is in a bad mood and/or being rude. I personally am happy when I go to the store because it's one of the few times I get to get out without my kids. --read more

I talked to our Real Estate Agent tonight and we schedualed a meeting for Friday morning to do a walk through and figure out what things have to be done to put the house on the market. DH is going to call district managers in Washington to talk about getting trasfered. I can't believe it's happening so fast! I was worried that it was going to take too long!!! --read more
